Yesterday in Downtown
Yesterday in Downtown, we continued
learning about Creation, and that GOD MADE EVERYTHING! This week, when
you are with your preschoolers and you see flowers, or big trees, or
when you're eating vegetables at dinner, ask them, "Who made this?" God
made everything! Reinforce our memory verse, "You made the world and everything in it." Psalm 89:11
Yesterday in Uptown
Our Epic summer continued with the story
of Jesus calming the storm. We reinforced the truth that we can depend
on God because He's bigger than any problem -- or storm -- we face.
This week, read Mark 4:35-41 with your kids. Talk about the storms you have faced in your life, and how Jesus got you through them. Read Psalm 55:22 with them. Reinforce that God is with us all the time, and is bigger than our problems.
